August 20, Saturday
Left Grand Teton National Park, headed for Rexburg to visit with Ken and Donna Benefield.

Went over Jackson pass a three mile 10% grade going up and back down. Arrived about noon after a pleasant ride through the potato and wheat fields and small farm towns. Met Donna and Ken at their house. Ken and I go back to high school and only seen them once since the move away in 1979. We caught up on old times and they took us and their grand daughter Sidney to a local lake about 30 minutes from their home. The lake was ten miles long and rested in a volcanic canyon about � mile wide. It was a warm day and the boat ride was just right. Sidney was towed behind on a raft. We all went out to dinner that night and returned home for more catching up.

August 21, Sunday
The next morning we kicked back for a while and around two o�clock headed to Idaho Falls for lunch. We ate at the Texas Barbeque and had a great lunch. After lunch we went to the falls and fed the ducks, and geese. After a short trip to Lowes to return a light we headed back to Ken and Donna�s place. That night we had dinner with Ken, Donna, and there daughter Kelly and her family at Ken and Donna�s. Ken and I talked until late that night.
